One of the final river crossings turned out to be seriously challenging. As the weather shifted, heavy rainfall caused the river to rise quickly. We ended up getting stuck mid-crossing and had to turn back,it just wasn’t safe to continue that night. We found shelter to keep warm and avoid hypothermia. Thankfully, we managed to cross the next morning and finally enjoyed our well-deserved warm showers and a hearty breakfast!

Camping and Accommodation

For those seeking an immersive outdoor experience, camping options are available at designated sites along the trail, allowing hikers to rest under the stars. We chose to do the organised trail where comfortable accommodation was provide.
