This page is a collection of destinations we’ve explored, from the wild terrains of Southern Africa to the laid-back beaches of Zanzibar, and other incredible places we’ve been to.
These are not travel packages or guided tours. They are our experiences from the road, the moments, challenges, and discoveries that have shaped our adventures and inspired us to go further and see more.
Exploring Africa: Raw, Wild, and Beautiful
Our travels through Africa have taken us from beautiful wildlife reserves to quiet local villages, remote beaches, and untouched landscapes. Countries like South Africa, Botswana, and Tanzania (Zanzibar) continue to surprise and inspire us, not only for their natural beauty but also for the stories they hold.
From hiking in the Drakensberg Mountains to chasing the golden hour along the Cape Peninsula, South Africa has shown us the beauty of contrast, wild and urban, rugged and refined. Whether it's local markets or early morning safaris in the bush, every corner has a story to tell. And with the Pink mobile, we have many stories to tell. That will be a blog on its own!
In Botswana, we found silence, space, and wildlife like nowhere else. Floating through the Okavango Delta in a traditional mokoro, falling asleep to the sounds of nature under the stars, with just a mat and a sleeping bag, it’s here that we felt the real soul of Africa most deeply.
Zanzibar was a completely different experience. With its mix of cultures, island life, and fascinating history, it was a place to slow down, recharge, and reflect. From wandering through the alleys of Stone Town to swimming in crystal-clear waters, the island left a lasting mark, and we definitely are going back.
While much of our time has been rooted in Africa, we’ve also explored destinations further away, like Bali, America, Europe, and the Middle East. Every trip, whether near or far, brings new perspectives and an appreciation for our planet and the people who call it home.
